Missy, that post of mine that czacza was replying to was an old post & yes, I've heard of Hurricane Sandy. I wish all those affected many blessings.
And regarding me finding a black purse, I got this. It's not black, but I loved the shape/style so much, I couldn 't refuse. I wish it had been on sale:
Nice bag, Ms I. are you using it as a daily handbag? I tend to change my bags seasonally.
Thanks for understanding about the hurricane aftermath. It's hard not to be affected by it in my area. Between 130,000 to 200,000 on Long Island alone without power. I have friends whose houses were literally washed away.
I got my People magazine in the mail yesterday and their main story (and front page) was about the hurricane and its aftermath. It was so sad to read about the people that lost their lives in the hurricane and those that are still struggling.

My mother is being ridiculous. My dad has some of the same symptoms she was showing when she was diagnosed with cancer, and she's blaming me and my "gay lifestyle" for the reason that they have cancer, because she thinks "god" is punishing them for my sins. I'm not even phased by it anymore. I just chalk it up to insanity and ignore 90% of what she says, and try to be as pleasant as possible. She's undergoing chemo today, so I wished her well.
As for work today, things have been going very well! The changes I've made to my procedures have been working out!
Oh! That really s$%@s toilet water, Peregrin. I am so sorry to hear this. While I am not in the same situation as you, I am in the middle of my own family/religion judgemental drama. Very stressful. I feel for you.
On an unrelated note, putting together a registry is like writing a list for Santa! You don't know if you'll get all you ask for, but it is fun to dream.
