Possible mid-year position
I had a principal contact me over Thanksgiving break to let me know that a teacher may be retiring soon depending on if she got disability or not. When I went in to meet with him, he said that a 1st grade teacher came to him that morning and said she was moving. She is supposed to be turning in her letter to him soon. He pretty much said I was his first and only choice, so I'm just having to wait at this point. I'm hoping the teacher doesn't change her mind about moving. I'm not sure how common that would be, but I hate the waiting part. I met with him last Tuesday so I think I will contact him at the end of the week just to see where things stand. Just wanted to share!
