How do I change a Microsoft word file to a pdf file?
I want to make worksheets that I can sell on tpt. Can someone tell me how to change a word file to a pdf file? And is that what I want to do for Tpt?

When I go to save, I don't have the option of PDF file...I have several options-- word document, word template, rich text format, etc.

I use Open Office, which is free, and does give that option.

On a Mac one goes via the Print menu to save a doc as a pdf, mrachelle: you might try looking there.

In Microsoft Word, go to File and click on "Save and Send". You will see the option for "Create PDF / XPS File". Click on that. A PDF version will be created with the same name as your Word file.

On some computers, when you Print, you can choose to "print" to a pdf instead of to a printer.
Alternatively, you can use an online converter to convert your word files to pdfs. Just google "word to pdf" and you'll find a bunch of links. They're really easy to use - you just upload your files and it will give you the pdfs in a minute or two.

When you save, go to "save as" and one of the options will be pdf.
