Trying to make a decision

I would apply just in case. If your school gets its accreditation in quickly, then you can always turn down the job offer. But if your school loses their accreditation, then you have at least put your application out there. And you never know when this school may have a biology teacher opening.

Talked to my novio when he got home last night and he was like APPLY! He was really excited and thought it would be a great opportunity.

So I'm going to apply. If nothing comes of it, fine. We'll see.

Although another thing crossed my mind yesterday-- my director has put tons of money into the lawyer on my residency case. (the lazy good for nothing lawyer) I'm talking a couple thousand, and that's a LOT of money down here. I'd really feel like a jerk leaving. But I guess if they give me a reason to (losing secundaria) then I would...

Welllll already got a reply. They say I don't have the requirements. I guess last time I applied they were more desperate than they are now. *sigh*

What are you lacking that they want? Did they say?

Yeah. It's teaching an IB chemistry class. I don't have IB experience nor am I IB trained.

Last time when I interviewed they said it was fine. Like I said, they must have been more desperate last time.

Sorry to hear that. You never know, they may come back to you if they don't get enough applicants who are IB trained...

I agree. I mean I can't imagine there's lots of USA or UK trained IB Chemistry teachers planning on moving to Costa Rica...
