Election Results Map Worksheet / Activity
Hi.
Politics aside, evaluating the results of the 2012 election is a valuable activity. It gives students practice reading charts and data. Additionally, they'll review some geography and gain a better understanding of the American electorate system.
This activity took my seventh grade students about an hour to complete.
I hope that you like it.

Those 'tiny little colonies on the East coast' are states, and have been states for the past few hundred years.

Ha.
No disrespect intended:
I suppose that I've been spending too much time covering the American Revolution.
Anyway, welcome to the Union.
